The best way to explore local towns and villages of the Tweed is by foot, stroll along paved walkways and browse the one-off boutiques, art galleries, homeware and giftware stores.


Every weekend there are art and craft, produce and farmers’ markets along with car boot sales to visit. World-famous local markets include those at Byron Bay, Bangalow, The Channon and Nimbin, Mullumbimby, Brunswick Heads, Lennox Head, Uki, Pottsville, Kingscliff, Murwillumbah and Coolangatta.
