Tweed Foodie Fest: 5 day culinary experienceDate: 6 December 2015
From Wednesday 2 December to Sunday 6 December at the fresh food farmers market, three of the region’s best chefs will cook for market patrons using the fresh local produce of the market, there are Tasting Tours, Garden Tours, Cooking Classes and our signature event-Tweed’s Biggest Dinner Party, in the main street of Murwillumbah, where local cafes, restaurants and food businesses will showcase the fresh produce of the Tweed with $6 and $12 tasting plates with specialty bars offering locally produced hand crafted beers, wines and spirits.
The Tweed Foodie Fest is a unique culinary experience located in the heart of Australia’s Green Cauldron, a sumptuous celebration of local food.
The festival is an experiential journey to discover Tweed’s produce and gastronomic diversity. It brings the local community and visitors together to share one of Tweed’s greatest pleasures – FOOD.
